A highly recommended business card. The card earns Chase Ultimate Rewards points with the following bonuses: 3x (3% cash back) on travel, shipping, internet, cable, phone, and advertising with social media sites (up to $150K spend per year). All Ink cards earn Ultimate Rewards with the option of converting to cash back.
At a minimum, this card's value is $900, where you can get even more value when using Points Boost in the Chase Travel℠ portal, but we value Chase points at 1.8 cents per point when transferred to travel partners like United, Hyatt, British Airways or Marriott.
NOTE: As of June 23, 2025, Chase replaced the guaranteed 25% boost (1.25 cents per point) redemption rate on all travel booked through Chase Travel for the Chase Ink Preferred with Points Boost, where you can get up to 1.5 cents per point on select flights and hotels (with up to 1.75 for premium cabin tickets on select airlines)—but for anything not covered, it drops to 1 cent per point.
Existing cardholders with accounts opened prior to June 23, 2025 can still use the 1.25x value for points earned before October 26, 2025, until October 26, 2027. Additionally, existing cardholders will automatically get the best offer available, whether it’s Points Boost or 1.25x on Chase Travel for points earned before October 26, 2025, until October 26, 2027.
